Exploration with real-world skills
Every adventure is a little different depending on the dogs, weather, and where we’re headed. We might hike through the forest, explore a river, or run on the beach. We adventure year-round and in all kinds of weather, including rain and snow.
Along the way, we work on real-world off-leash skills around distractions, including recall, name recognition, and check-ins. The goal is to give dogs time to move, sniff, explore, and have fun while building skills that help them stay connected and responsive outdoors.
Built for adventure. Backed by safety
Every new Explorer starts their first adventure on a long line while we build trust, work on recall, and learn how they respond around distractions. From there, freedom is earned over time and based on what’s appropriate for each dog and environment.
For added safety, every dog wears a Garmin GPS tracker during adventures. Because the system uses satellite tracking instead of relying on cell service, I can keep track of each dog even in areas with little or no reception.
I’m also Canine Wilderness Emergency First Aid certified and carry a first aid kit on every outing, so I’m prepared if something unexpected happens.
